Ghanaian midfielder Frank Acheampong has reflected on what he describes as a successful season in the Chinese Super League with Tianjin Teda FC.
Acheampong scored a historic seventeen goals (17) in the just-ended Chinese Super League season.
The 25-year old is elated and hopes to build on this feat going into next season's Chinese Super League after placing 14 in a 16 team league.
"We the effort we put in and by Gods grace everything went as we expected and I am happy for a remarkable season," he said
"We were going down but thank God we survived and I must say that it was an amazing season.
"A very memorable season for us and me as well and I just have to thank the fans for their support"
Acheampong joined the Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda on a six-month loan deal from Belgian giants Anderlecht in July 2017 and netted 4 goals in 12 appearances in his debut season which secured Tianjin Teda's stay in the top flight for the next season.

The former Brekum Chelsea forward then signed a permanent contract in November 2017 to keep him in China and have since established himself as a key member in the team.
Acheampong becomes the third top scoring African player in the 2018/2019 Chinese Super League with Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo scoring 21 goals and DR Congo's Cedric Bakambu with 19.
