Black Stars coach, Avram Grant is looking forward to speaking with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to decide his fate with the national team.
Grant’s contract with the team ends after the Africa Cup of Nations which he was expected to win but unfortunately came fourth after last night’s defeat to Burkina Faso in the third place match.
The coach should be packing his bags by now but insist he would have to speak with the FA before deciding his next move.
“I am very much aware that my contract comes to an end in a few weeks and I am looking forward to speaking to the authorities who brought me here,†he was speaking after the defeat to Burkina Faso.
Grant expressed disappointment in the team’s performance throughout the tournament as they have conceded some ‘cheap’ goals.
“We missed some chances in the competition but I think Ghana has a bright future. We conceded four goals in the competition and three of them were set-pieces- we need to look at the details.â€
He added that “it’s obviously a big disappointed to us all but sometimes that is how football is.â€
