Ghana move up to 51st in latest FIFA ranking

The Black Stars of Ghana has moved up three places in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Ghana is now ranked 51st in the world and this comes as a surprise as the Black Stars accumulated 602 points despite not been involved in any friendly game during the last international break.

Ghana, however, maintained its 8th place on the African continent.

Germany remained top despite a draw and defeat in March, Belgium climbing onto the podium (third, plus two) following a 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia and Tunisia (14th, plus nine) and Uruguay (17th, plus five) jumping up the table after both recording a pair of friendly victories in March.
