President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and 1st Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Kwesi Nyantakyi says his outfit is praying to secure sponsorship for the Ghana Premier League.
The league has lacked a sponsor for some years now ever since telecom giants Glo decided not to sponsor anymore.
The division one league has also suffered the same fate as it is currently not with a sponsor but the GFA Chief says he is optimistic that a sponsor will be secured before the year ends.
“We are still looking for sponsorship for the Premier League but I must say it has not been easy,†he told Vision 1 FM.
“We are praying hard to secure sponsorship before the end of the year,†he added.

The Ghana Premier league which was scheduled to start on the 2nd of March 2018 has been postponed indefinitely.
