The Ghana Premier league is set to begin on December 18, the Premier League Board(PLB) has announced.
The league would be preceded with a Super Cup between league winners Wa All Stars and MTN FA Cup winners Bechem United on December 4.
Organizers are hopeful that the league would get a sponsor before it begins as they are in talks with several companies to seal a sponsorship deal.
The statement for the PLB stated that “registration of players will take place during the first transfer window which will open from November 14 to February, 13 2017.â€
Wa All Stars would be hoping to defend their title while the likes of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea would also be in contention for the title.
