Gyan, Ayew out of Congo clash?

Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan and his deputy Andre Ayew may both be out of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier after reports the pair sustained injuries last Friday.

The two players were substituted in Ghana's 1-1 draw with Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and it has now been revealed they were injured.

They were not part of the team’s training in Accra on Saturday and it is rumored the pair may not feature on Tuesday.

The Black Stars have departed the shores of the country and will play Congo in Brazzaville on Tuesday in a make or break game.

Ghana's chances of qualifying for the World Cup are slimmer than ever after dropping points against Congo. The Black Stars are currently on two points from three games.
