Ex-Hearts of Oak player and coach, Mohammed Polo has stated that the club doesn't need a new logo but proper structures to see the club at the top again.
The outspoken coach when speaking on Metro FM in Kumasi fired that, Hearts of Oak management should stop living on their past glory and rather try to build the club with modern trends.
In an interview with Metro FM, the former Ghana ace expressed his candid dislike for the way the rainbow team is being managed.
“What Hearts of Oak need at this moment is not changing logos but to concentrate on building the structures that will sustain the team in the long termâ€
“Hearts of Oak need to put proper structures in place and stop talking about theoriesâ€. [Sic]
“In times past players were willing to join Hearts of Oak because of the love they had for the team but now they need something extra to join the teamâ€.
“Hearts management should see football as a business and put the proper structures in placeâ€.
“Hearts should stop living in the past and move with the modern trends of management such as clubs like Dreams FC and Inter Allies are doingâ€.
“I agree with Fatau Mohammed(captain of Hearts of Oak) that Hearts needs to sign some experienced players to guide the younger onesâ€.
“I started a project with the Youth Team during my time at the club but they failed to continue after my exitâ€.

Polo who previously managed the club guided the them to third place in the 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League season after the exit of David Duncan and achieved a lot as a player for the club.
