Samuel Boadu has demanded improvement from Hearts of Oak after they were frustrated in the goalless drawn against Real Tamale United over the weekend.
The Phobians have not been at their best this season and their inconsistency has seen them fall well behind rivals Kotoko in the race for the Premier League title, with Samuel Boadu's men trailing the leaders by 12 points.
Speaking after the game, the coach admitted he is not a happy man after his players failed to find the back of the net.
"Yeah, being a coach is a worry to me because when you get a chance and misuse it the opponent will punish you when they get the same chance but I congratulate the boys and the technical team for the information that they gave me, the boys did well but we have more to improve," coach Boadu said after the game.
Hearts of Oak on Sunday played their sixth draw of the season after firing blank against RTU on matchday 17 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
The Phobians who have a game in hand were hoping to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Great Olympics but RTU proved to be a hard nut to crack.
Hearts were reduced to 10-men in the 82nd minute after Caleb Amankwah was sent off following a second yellow card.
Hearts of Oak, 8th on the league table with 24 points after 16 matches played with host leaders Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3 pm in an outstanding fixture.
