Hearts of Oak will play Heart of Lions in the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
This one-off match is a highlight of the Homowo festival celebrations.
The fixture will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Last year’s match between Hearts and Great Olympics was cancelled, but organizers are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful event this year.
To kick off the excitement, the Organizing Committee will hold a press launch on Tuesday, July 23, at the Gbese Mantse’s palace, Ussher Fort, in Accra.
In their recent match, Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
