Ghana's world title hopeful, Isaac Dogboe(16-0,10 KO's) has said he would restore Ghana's lost pride in boxing when he faces Argentine, Javier Nicholas Chacon(23-3-1,7 KO's) on July 22 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.

Dogboe who was speaking after a humiliating defeat suffered by compatriot Obodai Sai on Friday at the hands  Namibian's Walter Kautondokwa said, he would redeem the image of the nation when he gets into the ring next month.

"It was a devastating defeat suffered by Obodai Sai but I would do well to bring back honour to the nation in my fight against Chacon,"he stated.

Nicknamed the "Royal Storm," Dogboe said, he is working very hard for the bout and would not disappoint Ghanaians with his eyes glued to the world title.

"This is my time and I am working towards winning the bout for the nation and move forward to challenge for the world title,"he stated.

For Sai, he said, it would be important for him to go back and work his way back to the top as such things occur in boxing sometimes.

Dogboe, would be defending his WBO International title against Chacon in a fight which would serve as the final world title eliminator.

The boxer was scheduled to face Claudio Echegaray but he(Dogbee) could not sign a contract for the fight.

The winner of the bout would come against WBO super bantanweight champion, Jesse Magdaleno, Dogboe is confident he would be the one to take on that challenge.

Dogboe is ranked number 4 in the latest rankings released by the WBO and the "Lion of Africa" and "Pound for Pound King,"believes the world is at his feet at the moment.

The bout is expected to attract several dignitaries including the Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah, former President, Jerry John Rawlings and other state officials.
