J.J Rawlings joins sports fratenity to pay last respect to Sam Arday

Former President Jerry John Rawlings joined the rest of the sporting fraternity to bid farewell to late Ghanaian coach Sam Arday was laid to rest today, April 7 at Osu in Accra.

The former President, a friend of the late coach was at the funeral to show his last respect and also sympathize with the deceased family.

The funeral was attended by hundreds of football administrators and enthusiasts, most of them in black and white attires as the illustrious coach was laid to rest.

Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie, Members of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana(SWAG) and players and officials of the West Africa Football Academy(WAFA) graced the occasion.

Coach Arday, affectionately called the Multiple System Man was the Technical Director of WAFA and contributed greatly to the teams current form.

The Thanksgiving Service would be held at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Osu on Sunday to end the funeral right of the late coach.
