Kevin-Prince Boateng was delighted to make his Barcelona debut - despite losing at Sevilla in last night's Copa del Rey clash.
Boateng led the line at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, flanked by Malcom and Carles Alena, and played 63 minutes before being subbed off for Luis Suarez.
Barça, who were without the rested Lionel Messi, were already 1-0 down by this point and went on to lose the match 2-0 in the first leg of the quarterfinal tie.
"Debuting with Barça has been a very special feeling, but I am angry about the result," said Boateng.
"It's very difficult to give the best level after a single training session, but I feel good and want to help the team.
"To have my first minutes as a Blaugrana, I feel happy.
"We have missed the last pass, but fortunately we have this week ahead to improve aspects and try to turn around the tie."
