Renowned Sports Journalist Kofi Asare Brako 'Abatey' has been appointed as the spokesperson for the Ministry for Youth and Sports and aide to the sector minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah.

Confirming his appointment in an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Abatey said he would be available to the media when called upon.

“I have taken over as the spokesperson of the Ministry and aide to Isaac Kwame Asiamah," “There are so many radio stations in Ghana, so anything regarding communication, I will be available to answer all questions"

The ace broadcaster who have rich experience in the media industry worked with Peace FM, Multimedia Group  (Adom FM, Asempa FM, Hitz FM)

He also worked with Atinka Media Village where he was the head of Sports at Atinka FM before joining their sister station in Kumasi as General manager of Agenkywa FM.
