Board member of Asante Kotoko, Evelyn Nsiah Asare has fired back at critics after the Porcupines elimination from the MTN FA Cup.

Kotoko on Wednesday exited the MTN FA Cup after succumbing to a 1-0 loss to city rivals King Faisal and supporters have expressed their displeasure over the recent defeat.

Reacting to the defeat, Evelyn Nsiah Asare linked Barca's exit from UEFA's elite competition to that of Kotoko being booted out of the FA Cup.

According to her, critics should be measured on their comments as even "Barcelona is out of Champions League".

The Board member believes the Porcupines will bounce back.

"Krobea is out of FA Cup and so what? Barcelona is out of Champions League, I do not think their supporters or the team is dead. You can say all that you want, we are still a great Family and we will be back. I sleep Krobea, I eat Krobea na my everything is Krobea" - Evelyn Nsiah Asare wrote on Twitter.

King Faisal have progressed to the next phase of the 2021/22 MTN FA CUP at the expense of Kotoko on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Insha Allah Boys got the better of the Porcupine Warriors again this season as they eliminated them from the MTN FA Cup Competition with a hard earned narrow 1-0 victory at home to advance to the next round.

Baba Yahaya's 27th-minute strike was enough for the Insha Allah Boys to once again beat Prosper Narteh Ogum's side.
