Ghanaian forward Majeed Waris has been released by Portuguese giants FC Porto after his loan spell according to reports.
The striker joined Porto in January on a loan deal from French Ligue two side Lorient.
Porto had an option to make the move permanent but have decided to let the striker go.
It looks like FC Porto were not too impressed with the 26-year-old who could not find the back of the net.
He made just 4 appearances for the side but looked a shadow of his old self.
Earlier reports suggested Porto wanted to offer him a four-year deal but Waris is now expected to return to his parent club.
Several clubs have already reportedly expressed interest in the Ghanaian international who might secure himself a Club before the transfer window shuts.
