The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of McDan Group of Companies, Daniel McKorley has donated a car to the Ghana Olympic Committee(GOC) in Accra.

The Daewoo Matiz vehicle, according to Mr. McKorley, was aimed at helping the GOC with it activities and in affirmation of his support to the development of sports in the country.

He also presented paints to the outfit to refurbish its building located at Ridge in Accra and promised to support the GOC in its quest to develop sports.

"It is only sports that can help a lot of people in Ghana as it would help fight against Galamsey, Armed robbery and other social vices," he stated.

He added that, there are huge potentials in sports and they need to be supported to realize their dreams to the fullest.

"I choose to help sports and a token to the sector goes a long way to encourage and assist young ones to build a career,"he stated.

President of GOC, Ben Nunoo Mensah, expressed appreciation to the McDan boss for his support to the outfit and the sporting fraternity.

Such benevolence he said, is the way to go for sports and encourage individuals and other corporate entities to come on board to help develop sports in Ghana.
