Former Black Stars midfielder, Michael Essien has received a UEFA certificate in football management, marking another significant milestone in his post-playing career.

The former football star, known for his time at Chelsea and Real Madrid, has been pursuing coaching qualifications and can now add this football management certificate to his impressive credentials.
Essien is currently using his new skills as a talent coach for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark’s top league, where he guides young players with his experience and knowledge.
His successful career started in France with Bastia, then moved to Olympique Lyonnais. His talent caught the eye of Chelsea in England, where he helped the team win several league titles and a Champions League trophy.
Later, Essien played for top teams like Real Madrid and AC Milan, earning worldwide respect as a midfield maestro.
