Ghana’s Abdul Rasheed Saminu has qualified for the 100m semi-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
He finished 3rd in Heat 5 of the race with a time of 10.06s. His time automatically qualifies for the semifinals.

He has joined fellow Ghanaian Benjamin Azamati who placed second in his race in Heat 1 earlier.
The semi-finals of the Men’s 100m is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, August 4 from 6:05 pm (18:05 GMT).
