Ghana international midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has joined Russian side Krylia Sovetov after leaving Anzhi Makhachakala.

Free agent Rabiu, signed for the Russian side till the rest of the season and will be expected to bring his experience on board to help the club move into the top half of the table.

The former Anzhi Makhachkala player has opted for the number 13 jersey.

Rabiu became a free agent after parting ways with cash strapped Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

The 29-year-old midfielder had joined Anzhi Makhachkala for a second spell in the summer after penning a three and a half year deal with the club but he had to depart after just six months due to the clubs financial constraints.

He previously played for FC Kuban Kransnodar and French side Evian TG.
