The Ministry Of Youth And Sports have rendered an account on the international friendly match between Ghana and Namibia last weekend.
On Saturday, November 24 the Black Stars B engaged the Brave Warriors of Namibia in a friendly encounter in honour of Namibia’s President, Hage Gottfried Geingob.
The release comes after the former Western Regional Football Association Chairman, Kojo Yankah called on the Normalisation Committee to render account.
The local-based Stars, however, lost the match 4-1 on penalties after playing out a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time.
In the released issued by the Ministry Of Youth And Sports, the host country (Namibia) provided...
i. Return tickets from Accra to Windhoek on Air Namibia.
ii. Accommodation at a 5-star hotel (Windhoek Country Club and Resort).
iii. Local transport
iv. Meals and Refreshment
v. An amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) for playing the match.
However, the Ministry says the Normalization Committee of the GFA paid per diems of all the invited players and the technical handlers of the Black Stars B.
