Belgium were 2-0 up at halftime to the surprise of many.
Brazil were a different side in the second half as they attacked and dominated in search of a goal.
Their persistence paid off in the 76th minute, Philippe Coutinho sent a superb cross into the box and Renato Augusto headed the ball past Courtois.
Several late chances fell in the way of the Brazilians but Belgium held on well and won 2-1.
