Hearts of Oak board has expressed deep concern over the club’s recent performance in the Ghana Premier League, labelling it as “unacceptable”.
With five losses in their last six games, they are now facing the threat of relegation, sitting just four points above the danger zone.
“The board would like to address the recent poor results of the team, which we find unacceptable,” the statement began. “Please be assured that we are actively engaged in discussions with Management and the technical team to address this concern promptly.”
Chaired by the Agbogbomafia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, the board emphasised its commitment to upholding the rich heritage of Hearts of Oak. It also reassured stakeholders and supporters that every effort is being made to reverse the current trend.
“Your continued support is invaluable to us as we work towards a brighter future for Accra Hearts of Oak. Together, we will navigate through this period and emerge stronger than ever before.”
