Ghanaian winger Thomas Abbey has begun pre-season with his Egyptian side Ismaily.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands that Abbey who missed the majority of the last campaign through injury is back on the field with his peers.
Abbey has had some sessions with his teammates and looks fit and ready for the new campaign.
The former Black Stars B player last game for Ismaily was a five minutes appearance against El Raja on April 22, 2018.
Abbey who joined Ismaily from Hearts of Oak made a total of four appearances for the club after being out for two months with an injury.
Thomas Abbey was the highest goal scorer for the Phobians in the 2016/17 league season, with 13 goals in 28 appearances for the club.
The midfielder undoubtedly was Hearts of Oak’s best player, having won four man-of-the-match awards with 15 goals in all competitions.

The attacking midfielder was also part of the Black Star B squad that won the 2017Fox Wafu tournament in which Coach Maxwell Konadu shifted him to the left back position.
