Only Manchester City finished at Group F leaders while Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool all finished at number in their respective groups. Liverpool and Spurs booked their places in the last 16 on Tuesday night through dramatic circumstances while the Manchester clubs had already qualified before Wednesday's matches. Despite Juventus suffering a shock defeat to Young Boys. United missed the chance of finishing at the top of the group as they were beaten 1-2 by Valencia who booked a place in the Europa League.Â
