Igesund who has the distinction of being the only man to coach four different top-flight teams to South Africa's Premier Soccer League (PSL) championship came to prominence after leading an unfancied Manning Rangers side to the inaugural PSL title.
He was coach of the South African national team from 2012-2014 losing dramatically on penalties to Mali in the quarter-finals at AFCON 2013.
