Shatta Michy, fiancée of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has expressed dissatisfaction with the manner in which the Ghanaian media spreads only 'bad news' about her even though she equally does good deeds.
Speaking in an interview on Enterntainment show, 'E with Becks', the baby mama of Shatta Wale explained that so many bloggers and media houses only find pleasure in spreading the bad news rather than publicizing the good things she does.Â
Shatta Michy who doubles as a singer and actress was speaking about her career, life and her seemingly quiet involvement in charitable deeds when the question of hypocrisy in the media popped up.
"All I'm saying is broadcast the good news as much as you broadcast the bad. No blogger seems to pick that up. The same way when I do bad they pick it up, when I do good, they should pick it up. Now that Ebony is dead, let us not be hypocrites", she responded.
According to her she has embarked on several charity activities and donations to some Orphanages and plans to continue through a new movement known as the Shatta Movement Women Empowerment, also known as SM Divas.
"We are going to embark on more community service, donations, and interact with street children. This year, we(Shatta Movement Women Empowerment) are putting together a women's forum where young female entrepreneurs to share their stories to teach the younger children." she said.
Shatta Michy also hinted of a Water company project underway which will create jobs for many youth in Ghana.Â
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy have been together for about eight years and have a three-year-old son named Majesty.
