Bediatuo Asante in stable condition after illness in the US – Presidency

Nana Bediatuo Asante, the Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, is in stable condition at a hospital in the United States following an illness, the presidency has clarified.

This was contained in a statement issued by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency.

According to the statement, Nana Bediatuo Asante began to feel unwell after the conclusion of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where he served as a key member of President Akufo-Addo’s delegation.

He was subsequently admitted to a hospital in the U.S. for treatment.

“He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment. According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength.

“We ask for continued prayers and support for him and his family during this difficult period. Further updates will be provided when necessary.”


STATEMENT ON THE HEALTH OF NANA BEDIATUO ASANTE, SECRETARY TO THE PRESIDENT

The Office of the President wishes to inform the public about the health status of Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to the President.

Following the conclusion of the meeting of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, in the United States of America, where he served as a key member of President Akufo-Addo’s delegation, Nana Bediatuo Asante stayed behind to conduct further government business.

He then began to feel unwell, and was subsequently admitted to hospital.

He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment.

According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength.

We ask for continued prayers and support for him and his family during this difficult period. Further updates will be provided when necessary.
