The two men discharged by the Accra High Court in connection with the death of J.B Danquah-Adu, were on Thursday remanded by the Accra Central District Court after fresh charges were filed against them.
The two, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso who were discharged by the court on Tuesday after prosecutors filed a nolle prosequoi are now facing the charges of murder and abetment of murder respectively.
Appearing in court on Thursday, Asiedu told the court that he had been denied access to his lawyer and wanted to go home.
The prosecutor, Deputy Superintendent of Police , George Amegah denied Asiedu's accusation , informing the court that Asiedu was always given access to his lawyer.
The prosecutor further pleaded with the court to remand the two because investigations were still ongoing. Presiding judge, Ms Efua G Sackey granted the plea and remanded the two men to reappear on June 15, 2017.
