Details are still emerging but a van carrying insecticide products seems to have overturned at the Dzorwulu Junction leading to an explosion.
The van is charred with remnants of the product littered on the streets with curious sellers and passersby congregating to know what happened.
Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglatey stated they had a call at 10:28 hours and swiftly responded to the call.
He stated the timely intervention, saved lives, as the insecticide canisters in the van started exploding after the accident with a truck at the Dzorwulu Junction.

He stated, further investigation is being carried out to ascertain the factors which led to the explosion which was unusual.
