John Kumah, the late Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
The final funeral rites will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
The Kumah family, to which the late deputy Finance Minister belonged, announced during the one-week observance held at Ejisu on Thursday.
Dignitaries, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, immediate past Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, Energy Minister Matthew Opoku Prempeh and sympathisers gathered at Kumah’s hometown to mourn his passing.
The 45-year-old lawmaker passed away earlier this month following a brief illness, leaving behind a wife and six children.
