Mr. Kwadwo Odame Antwi has been appointed as the acting chief executive of Ghana Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Authority.
In a statement signed by the Minister designate, the Chief Director of the sector Ministry was instructed to ensure a smooth transition.
The statement said, “The Chief Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts who is in this letter copied is hereby requested to facilitate a smooth handing over
process
and assist in settling you into your new roleâ€.

Mr. Kwadwo Antwi holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Marketing/Marketing Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Post Graduate Certificate in Diplomacy, International Relations & Local Government as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA), Project Management from the University of Ghana.
Until the appointment, Mr. Antwi was both head of marketing & sustainability at Ghana Grains Council, a body formed by leaders in the grains and legumes business with the aim of intervening in the value chain to achieve improvement in productivity, quality and greater commercialization of the industry and funded by USAID’s ATP & Advance Projects as well as head of communications at the Centre for Urban Transportation, Urban Transport Project.
He brings to the new role nearly a decade of experience in corporate or institutional marketing, communications and leadership: a trio requirement critical in building a thriving culture and tourism industry in Ghana, or anywhere else in the world.
