A deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Â Henry Nana Boakye has been appointed as the acting Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme.
The appointment, according to a letter signed by the President, Nana Akufo-Addo is in accordance with the National Service Scheme Act, 1980 (Act 426).
Mr Boakye is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technolgy.
Known in the political circles as Nana B, he contested and lost the Manhyia North NPP parliamentary primaries in 2015.
His appointment takes effect from today, February 6, 2017.
