The Ghana Police Service has deployed a special task force to deal with the perennial heavy traffic on the Kasoa-Buduburam-Winneba road.
The heavy traffic on that stretch of road has been a source of worry for many road users, but in a statement, the police said a special team has been deployed to ease the congestion following complaints.
“We apologise for the inconvenience suffered by users of that route, especially during yesterday and we hereby announce that a special team has been constituted and deployed to monitor and regulate the free flow of traffic in that area,†the statement read.
The statement warned drivers against flaunting road traffic regulations on that stretch of road.
