The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, stormed the conference grounds of the party, Koforidua Technical University, with heavy security personnel.
 The acting General Secretary who is contesting the position stormed the grounds with police personnel, military, and private security.
John Boadu was followed with heavy crowd apart from the heavily built police and military personnel and the plain cloth personnel.
John Boadu is in the contest with Dr. Richard Ahiagbah for the scribe of the party.
