The national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayesu Ntim, has praised the leadership of the current government for guiding Ghana from the edge of despair to economic recovery.

At the party’s manifesto launch on Sunday on August 18, Ntim highlighted the government’s efforts during global health crises like Covid-19. He acknowledged that while the country faced tough challenges, the government implemented measures to make life more manageable for Ghanaians.

Although he admitted that Ghana is not entirely out of the woods, he noted that significant progress had been made.

“Under the visionary leadership of the president, Ghana has risen from the brink of despair. We are on the right path towards economic prosperity and have undertaken important reforms for good governance within our stable democracy,” Ntim stated.

He also pointed out the party’s key achievements, including the Free Senior High School policy, the establishment of STEM and TVET schools, the implementation of mobile money interoperability, and the launch of Agenda 111.

Ntim appealed to the voters to support the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming elections, to continue the progress made so far.
