Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has called on supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ablekuma North to unite and support each other.

He charged supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stand by their party members in confrontations with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to NPP supporters during a visit to the Ablekuma North constituency, amidst the delayed declaration of a winner in the 2024 election, he made a provocative statement:

“If indeed you are a member of the NPP and you go to meet your fellow party member fighting a member of the NDC, join your party member to beat the NDC member,” Mr. Annoh-Dompreh charged.

The MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri also accused the NDC of deliberately obstructing the Electoral Commission (EC) from completing the collation process. He further expressed his frustration over the delay in declaring the winner of the Ablekuma North seat.

“We are giving the EC one week—seven days. The EC must come and declare our candidate as the winner of the Ablekuma North election,” he insisted.

Mr. Annoh-Dompreh warned that any further delay in announcing Akua Afriyie as the MP-elect for the constituency would result in continuous disruptions in Parliament.
