President John Mahama has announced the formation of his cabinet, comprising 19 ministers tasked with helping him serve his four-year mandate.
The appointments are in line with Article 76 (1) of the 1992 Constitution.
In a statement, the new government emphasized that the cabinet is designed to address urgent national issues and fulfill key campaign promises.
The team brings together a mix of experienced Members of Parliament and expert sector ministers, reflecting President Mahama’s commitment to inclusive governance and tackling the nation’s challenges.
At a press conference, Minister for Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, highlighted the cabinet’s immediate priorities, including curbing inflation, reducing unemployment, and addressing security concerns. The cabinet is expected to start its work swiftly to address these pressing issues.
