President John Mahama is expected to visit the Volta Region on Friday, January 24, to express his gratitude to the region's people for their support in the 2024 general election.
The visit which will take place in the regional capital, is in "recognition of the overwhelming support and trust demonstrated by the chiefs and people of the region" during the December 7 elections.
It also aims to "solidify the bond between the President and the citizens while celebrating their vital contributions to our nation," a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, acting spokesperson to the President said.
