Asante Kotoko saw off Burkina Faso side Save African Child with a 3-1 triumph in an international friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Asante Kotoko came into this game as wounded lions following their 3-0 defeat to the national team of Ghana, Black Stars on Friday.Austin Uzo opened the scoring for SAC FC in the 3rd minute but the home side upped their game and restored parity after an own goal by Tapsoba Mohammed in the game 20th minute.

Fredrick Boateng gave the Porcupine Warriors nine munites later after the leveller, the lead and it lasted till halftime.
Both sides were wary of each other's attack in the second half as both struggled to create decent goalscoring opportunities.
However, Asante Kotoko threw everything at the Burkinabe side and eventually cushioned their lead following an own goal Amos Benedict of Save African Child.
The victory was CK Akonnor's first since his appointment as the head coach of the club.
