Asante Kotoko SC has officially declared an amount of GHC 639,000 as the gross gate proceeds from their CAF Confederations Cup second leg tie with Coton Sport at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Asante Kotoko took home a net amount of GHC 438,000 after various deductions were made.
This is one of the highest amounts the Porcupine Warriors have made in gate proceeds at the Baba Yara Stadium in recent years.
The previous highest gross gate proceeds recorded in Ghana football was when Ghana played Egypt in Kumasi (6-1) GHs 420,000 was the gross gate proceeds that day.
Asante Kotoko won the game by two goals to one and qualified on a 5-3 aggregate.
