Mario Balotelli could be joining his ex-AC Milan teammate Kevin Prince Boateng at Serie A side Sassuolo in the January transfer window according to reports in Italy.
Balotelli after two excellent seasons in the French Ligue 1 side Nice started the new campaign in the worst way.
The former Milan striker is not enjoying a happy period with Nice being seventh in the standings and outside the European zone.
The 28-year-old is yet to find the back of the net after eight appearances in Ligue 1.
Balotelli's relationship with coach Patrick Vieira is not ideal, to put it mildly, the striker threw his gloves on the ground and turned abruptly towards the technician, pointing the finger at him after he was substituted over the weekend.
