Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei has readied huge sums of dollars for Asante Kotoko players as they begin the group stage matches in the CAF Confederations Cup.
This is to motivate the players to work harder to make it out of the group stage of the competition.
The Porcupine Warriors have been drawn together with North Africans side Al Hilal Omdurman in Group C, which is completed by Zambian duo Zesco United and Nkana FC.
Kumasi-based Fox FM gives a breakdown of the qualification bonuses each player and the technical team will receive if they are able to sail out of the group stage.Â
Each win in the group stage match is $1,000 to each player which DO NOTÂ include drawn matches.
In effect, Dr Kwame Kyei will pay the money as a qualification bonus, that is, the money will only be paid after qualification.
However, the qualification bonus will be paid according to the number of points Asante Kotoko will accumulate after all the 6 matches in the group.

i) Qualification with 18 points = $6,000
ii) Qualification with 15 points = $5, 000
iii) Qualification with 12 points = $ 4,000
iv) Qualification with 9 points = $3, 000
Asante Kotoko will begin their group stage campaign on Sunday as they play guest to Al Hilal in Sudan at the Al Hilal Stadium at 6:00GMT.
