Baby Jet promotions is set to light up the Bukom Boxing Arena on the night of 20th of October, 2018 with ten boxers lined up for the maiden edition of the Asamoah Gyan Fight Night.
Five bouts are expected on the night with the headliner being between Ghanaian IBO World Lightweight boxer Emmanuel Tagoe and two-time WBA world lightweight champion Paulus Moses of Namibia for the WBO African Lightweight title.
Hard puncher, Ishmael Ayittey will battle Ofei Dodoo in a 10-round contest in national lightweight division.
The rivalry between Michael Ansah popularly known as ‘One Bullet’ and Sherrif Quaye will be reignited when they meet in another lightweight battle on the night.
Former featherweight champion Malik Jabel will square off with Robert Quaye in the Super Lightweight championship whiles Aziz Quartey will fight Raphael King in a 10-round welterweight contest.
Speaking at the launch held at the Bukom Town Park in Accra, Emmanuel Game Boy Tagoe expressed appreciation to his management and assured his fans of victory on the night.
“Boxing is for Ga’s and I’m happy the press conference is being organized in Bukom here. This bout is an opportunity for me to show everyone that I’m the best. The boxer coming is a two-time world champion but when he gets here he will be reduced to a normal boxer because of what I will show himâ€, he bragged.
