Ghanaian forward Christian Atsu made a 2nd second half appearance for Newcastle United who beat Southampton 3-0 in an English Premier League game at the St James Park.
Atsu has been used as a substitute for the most part of the season by Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez.
Newcastle broke the deadlock as early as the 2nd minute through Chelsea loanee Kenedy.
The Brazilian added a second in the 29th minute to give Newcastle a comfortable first-half lead.
Matt Richie made it three for Newcastle in the 57th minute.
Atsu was thrown on in the 78th minute as he took the place of Kenedy and helped Newcastle to record a comfortable victory.

The win takes Newcastle United to 13th on the League log as they are 5 points clear of the relegation zone.
