The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has asked the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association( GFA) to step aside.
GHALCA ask the EXCO to step to allow the government Interim Committee (IMC) to lead Ghana Football.
According to a press release signed by Mr Kudjo Fianoo, chairman of GHALCA, the clubs were concerned with the ongoing legal tussle, which has disrupted all football activities in Ghana.
“The clubs in accordance with the statutes and regulations of the GFA resolved to call for an emergency congress and called on the current Executive Committee of the FA to step aside to pave way for an Interim Management Committee that would come out with a bouquet of reforms including any amendments to its current statutes and regulations to make the FA and Association Football credible, transparent, accountable, efficient, more effective and respectedâ€.

GHALCA also added that they have approved FIFA's invitation to Nana Samuel Brew-Butler and Dr Kwesi Ndoum to be part of a meeting scheduled in Zurich on Thursday 28th June 2018 between the Government of Ghana and FIFA to find a lasting solution to the impasse in Ghana football.
