Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa has suffered a foot injury in training and could face a spell on the sidelines.
Los Rojiblancos have confirmed the Spain international has ‘a trauma in his foot’ following Tuesday morning's training session and will now ‘train independently from his teammates’.
The 30-year-old is struggling in terms of his performances too having not registered a goal in La Liga since February, and not striking in eight league appearances to date this season.
Costa has not been included in the Spain squad for the upcoming Nations League qualifier against Croatia in Zagreb.
Simeone is also without the injured Thomas Lemar (thigh) and defenders Lucas Hernandez, Jose Maria Gimenez and Stefan Savic.

Atletico host Barcelona on November 24 following the break for international matches, then host Monaco four days later looking to book their ticket for the last 16 of the Champions League.
