Newly appointed coach of Great Olympics Tom Strand says he is optimistic that the club will not be relegated after picking up a point against Liberty professional at the Carl Reindorf Park.
Olympics managed to draw goalless at Dansoman and the head coach is confident the club can survive the relegation scare.
“This is my first game with Olympics, we only had few days to train but I could see my players were committed, we now have to see how we can prepare for our next game against Tema Youth and now the aim and goal is to survive relegation and we hope to do soâ€.
Tom Strand’s appointment was met with mix reactions among Olympics supporters as some were against the idea of making former coach Godwin Attram assistant. The club is currently 14th on the league table with 11 points with a game in hand.
