William Owusu Acheampong is a Ghanaian striker who plays for Belgian side Royal Antwerp.
Date of Birth
29-year-old Owusu was born on September 13, 1989, in Accra Ghana.
Early football career
He started his career with Ghanaian side Real Tamale before moving to Belgium side Anderlecht in 2006.
He lasted just a year with the club and moved to Portugal to join Sporting CP in 2007.
Sporting CP
He never made an appearance for the club between 2008 and 2014 and instead went on several loan spells.
He joined Real Massamá on loan in 2009 and made 16 appearances scoring 6 in return. He was loaned to Gil Vicente in 2010 and made 13 appearances and scored just twice.
He was on the move again that same year joining Cercle Brugge where he played 31 times and could only score 4 goals.
In 2011 he was again loaned to Westerlo, he spent two years with the side and played a total of 38 games and managed 11 goals.
Antwerp
Owusu then moved to Corona BraÅŸov in 2013 but did not make an appearance for the club and left to join Antwerp in 2014 on a permanent deal.

Roeselare
He was loaned by Antwerp in 2016 to Roeselare where he played 8 times and scored 3 but has since returned to Antwerp.
International career
William Owusu received his first call-up to the Black Stars for their 1-0 defeat to Kenya in the 2019 AFCON qualifier.
