President Akufo-Addo has congratulated Black Stars coach Otto Addo for qualifying Ghana to the World Cup in Qatar.
The President in a telephone conversation with Otto Addo insisted that he will not allow him to return to Dortmund after his return to the country.
Otto Addo masterminded Ghana’s qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will come on in Qatar in November after eliminating the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Otto Addo was appointed by the Ghana Football Association for the 2022 World Cup playoffs against Nigeria after Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac was fired.

Milovan Rajevac was fired after Ghana’s poor showing at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana got one point in group C.
Addo who works with his former club Borussia Dortmund as a ‘talent coach’ accepted the Black Stars job last month and has qualified Ghana for their fourth-ever World Cup finals.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to review Otto Addo’s work in the coming days and reveal whether he will be given the job permanently or not.
However, in a telephone conversation with the president, Nana Addo congratulated him and the rest of his technical team, the players and the management team for their triumph in Abuja.
The ecstatic Nana Akufo-Addo further reveal that he will not allow Otto Addo to return to Dortmund once he returns to Ghana with the Black Stars.
Nana Addo who’s celebrating his 78th birthday today made the call from his office at the Flagstaff House in Accra to the Otto Addo who’s currently in Abuja.
