Ghanaian midfielder Elvis Opoku has described Aduana Stars' sacking of Yusif Abubakar as 'senseless'.
Elvis Opoku was livid following Aduana Stars decision to fire Yusif Abubakar as the head coach of the club in favour of a Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatshuhashi.
Aduana Stars fired Coach Yusif Abubakar following his poor performance both in the truncated Zylofon Cash Premier League and the CAF Confederations Cup, where he was winless in the first two games of the competition.

“What was the point in the sacking of Yusif, “I saw no sense in it†He told Nhyira FM.
“Look at what Kenichi come to do. He just woke up to give the captaincy to Yahaya Mohammed without any consultations whatsoever.â€
“I and Joseph Addo protested but the other players didn’t support us. The management also did nothing against his (Kenichi) decision.†He concluded.

The Dorma-based club are managerless following the departure of the Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi to Japan.
